In the Kingdom of Crystal, there is a long and vibrant tradition of craftsmanship – and now our coffee becomes part of this tradition. For centuries, knowledge, tradition and creativity have gone hand in hand here, from the early glassworks of the 18th century to today’s diverse and living craft culture.
Now, Glasriket – Kingdom of Crystal has launched a pilot project where companies in the region can label their products with “Craft from the Kingdom of Crystal.” A small label – with great meaning.
We are proud that our coffee is part of this context.
Coffee roasting is, at its core, a craft.
It begins with the selection of green coffee – where the beans come from and how they have been grown and processed. Then comes the roasting itself, where time, temperature and experience come together to highlight the unique character of the coffee.
It is not only about technique, but about a sensitivity to detail.
Small adjustments in the roast profile can make a big difference in the cup.
As with any craft, it requires time, knowledge and continuous learning.
The Kingdom of Crystal is best known for its glass – but craftsmanship here goes far beyond that.
There is a strong appreciation for the genuine and authentic, whether it is glass, wood, metal, food or other materials.
What makes the region unique is the combination of tradition and renewal. The historical heritage lives on, while new ideas and expressions continue to emerge.
To be part of this context is both an honour and a source of inspiration for us.
As part of the pilot project, a small orange label can now be placed on products from participating companies. It signals that the product is created with craftsmanship and care in the Kingdom of Crystal.
For us, it is more than a label – it is a reminder of the context we are part of.
A landscape where craftsmanship, knowledge and passion come together – and where every cup of coffee carries a piece of that story from the Kingdom of Crystal in Småland.
