Swedish Championships in Artisan Food 2025 – an inspiring journey to the North

Last week, we at TADAH Coffee Roastery had the great pleasure of taking part in the Swedish Championships in Artisan Food 2025, held at Sara Kulturhus in Skellefteå. The event is organized by Eldrimner – the National Centre for Artisan Food, bringing together food artisans from all over Sweden.

Julia participated as a jury member in the category “Artisan Beverages”, tasting, evaluating, and discussing over 650 different products together with about a hundred other jury members – everything from cheese, bread, and pastries to marmalades and drinks. It was a fantastic meeting place filled with quality, passion, and genuine craftsmanship!

We also took the opportunity to make a little road trip through Norrland – our very first visit to the northern parts of Sweden. Forests in autumn colors, crisp air, calm lakes – and so many passionate people carrying the Swedish artisan food tradition forward in their own way.

It became a week full of impressions, inspiration, and new connections.
We returned home with fresh ideas for our coffee and for how we can continue to grow as artisans ourselves – and with a deep sense of gratitude for being part of this vibrant movement.
