“Giulietta” – creamy dual roast espresso

Giulietta is a full-bodied and creamy espresso blend made with coffee from Brazil and India. It is ideal for anyone looking for more depth and sweetness than a classic medium roast, but fewer pronounced roast notes than our darkest espresso, Tomaso.

What makes Giulietta special is our dual roast method. One part of the coffee is medium roasted and the other dark roasted before the two roast profiles are blended together. This combines the softer sweetness of a medium roast with the body and depth of a dark roast.

The Brazilian Yellow Bourbon contributes a creamy body and notes of chocolate, caramel and roasted nuts. The Robusta from Sampigehalla Estate in India adds nougat, extra fullness and a dense crema.

The result is a rounded and flavourful espresso with caramel-like sweetness, a full body and a long finish. Giulietta is equally enjoyable as a straight espresso or in cappuccino, caffè latte and bean-to-cup machines.

About the coffee from Brazil

The Yellow Bourbon coffee comes from Cerrado in Brazil, a region known for its stable climate and high plateaus. It grows in nutrient-rich soil and is processed using the pulped natural method, contributing to a full body and naturally sweet notes of chocolate, caramel and roasted nuts.

About the coffee from India

The Robusta comes from Sampigehalla Estate in Coorg, Karnataka – one of India’s oldest and best-known coffee-growing regions. The estate is run by the Bopanna Iychetira family, who have been growing coffee for several generations.

This is a high-quality Fine Robusta, far removed from the ordinary Robusta often used in industrial coffee blends. It grows under shade trees alongside pepper vines and orange trees and is processed with great care.

In Giulietta, the Robusta contributes a rounded, full body, notes of nougat and caramel, and a dense, creamy crema.
