The family owned property is located in Mareeba, approximately 55 kilometers west of Cairns in the Atherton Tablelands of North Queensland, Australia at an altitude of approximately 550 - 600 meters above sea level. Today, this rural area is known for its rodeo shows and the tobacco industry. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the region has been rediscovered for its production of quality coffee but in the course of economic changes and climate disasters, the cultivation was abandoned and revived only in the late 1970s.
