More about the coffee:
Flor Azul originates from the lush hills of Marcala, one of Honduras’ most renowned coffee regions, located in the Montecillos mountains near the border with El Salvador. The high altitude and unique microclimate give the beans their characteristic balance of freshness, sweetness, and silky mouthfeel.
This coffee is produced by small and medium-sized farmers who are part of the MARCAFE cooperative, uniting around 660 families committed to sustainable agriculture – enriching soil with organic matter, protecting forests, and conserving water.
After harvest, the beans are carefully fermented, washed, and dried to preserve their pure and complex flavor. The result is an elegant, aromatic cup with distinct notes of dark chocolate, stone fruit, and honey – a true taste of Honduras’ green heart.
